The applicant needs to be well-versed in Jolly Phonics, which includes phonemes, understanding the functions of long and short vowels, tricky words, blending as well as segmenting techniques.

Please note: The applicant should not be working in a school as a part-time or full-time teacher. It is because we are hiring phonics teacher in Mumbai to work with us full-time.

Working days – Monday to Saturday
Work Timings – 9.30 am to 4.30 pm or 2 pm to 8 pm – Subject to the requirement of the institute.

About the Role

We have jobs for Phonics teachers who have knowledge and experience in the field and are proficient in Jolly Phonics (UK). The applicant needs to have excellent command over the English language and should be able to interact and make the lessons fun and educational for kids. The applicant applying as Phonics teacher ( in Mumbai) should be open to receiving training to keep the distinct teaching style at Phonic Smart, intact.

Requirements for phonics teacher jobs:

Should be a graduate.
Should have a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in kindergarten(pre-primary)and/or primary levels teaching children between 3-8 years of age.
Possess a sound understanding and knowledge of phonics (Jolly Phonics).
Should preferably have a Jolly phonics certification or online EduTech experience.
Strong command over English language.
Skills to deal with young kids patiently and empathetically.
Passion for teaching and belief in building a strong foundation for kids at a young age
Must possess basic computer skills.
